SUMMARY:Climate Existence 2020 - postponed
DESCRIPTION:Due to the present situation with the corona virus we have decided to cancel Climate Existence 2020 in Sigtuna\, May 14 – 16. \nIt was a hard\, but given the circumstances\, inevitable decision. With new directions from the Swedish authorities\, strict travelling restrictions\, and not the least a general concern in society at large\, the obstacles eventually became too hard to overcome. \nWe believe that you have looked forward to the conference just as much as we have\, and to make sure that this important Climate Existence Dialogue continues we are already planning for Climate Existence in 2021. \nPlease save the new date for Climate Existence; Thursday to Saturday 12-14 August 2021. \n…………………….. \nKlimatförändringarna har blivit verklighet och innebär redan nu förödande konsekvenser för både människor och den mer-än-mänskliga världen. Det finns inte mycket tid eller utrymme kvar att hålla temperaturförändringarna på en relativt låg och säker nivå.\nMen samtidigt engagerar sig de unga\, utan att nödvändigtvis tala om hopp. Och medan vi funderar har redan många runt omkring i världen kämpat med effekterna av krisen under en lång tid. Vad skulle det betyda att vara vid tunneln i slutet av ljuset? Kanske kan en tunnel vara en flyktväg? Vad är det vi ser när våra ögon vänjer sig vid mörkret? Vilka existentiella frågor måste vi ställa och hur upphör vi med att springa från katastrof till katastrof\, incident till incident?\nFör femte gången arrangerar CEMUS (Centrum för miljö och utvecklingsstudier vid Uppsala Universitet och Sveriges Lantbruksuniversitet) och Sigtunastiftelsen Climate Existence tillsammans.
