Summer at Sigtunastiftelsen

We are open all summer and warmly welcome you to stay, discover and enjoy good food with us. Sigtunastiftelsen is beautifully located with views over Lake Mälaren and only a few minutes’ walk from Sigtuna’s historic and picturesque town centre.
Food & Drink
Our hotel breakfast is served every day from 07:30 to 10:00 and is always included in the room rate. You are also warmly welcome to book a summer breakfast with friends or family, even if you are not staying at the hotel.
From 23 June to 7 August, our summer café is open daily from 11:00 to 16:30. You will find us in the hotel lobby, where we serve coffee, pastries, sandwiches and salads. Buy something to enjoy for fika or a light lunch, then choose whether to sit indoors or outside among the roses.
From 17:00 to 21:30, the restaurant is open with our summer menu. We recommend booking a table via our website.

Please note that Sigtunastiftelsen is exclusively booked for private events or weddings on the following dates:
13–14 June, 26–28 June, 4–5 July, 1–2 August, 8–9 August, 15–16 August and 22–23 August.
Summer Conferences
We are open for conferences throughout the summer. We are noticing that more companies are choosing to hold conferences during the summer months, often combined with seasonal activities and experiences.

Hotel Packages
Our hotel is also open throughout the summer, except on dates when the venue is exclusively booked.
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is at 10:30.

Activities at Sigtunastiftelsen
At Sigtunastiftelsen, you will find a range of simple and enjoyable activities. Outdoors, you can play table tennis, cornhole, boule and croquet. Indoors, we have filled the lounge on the 4th floor with board games and puzzles. Why not try the popular game Hitster?
You can also book our sauna free of charge. There is one sauna for women and one for men. We also have two bicycles available to borrow, making it easy to explore Sigtuna and the surrounding area.
Guided Tours of Sigtunastiftelsen
Guided tours are offered Monday to Saturday during weeks 26–32 at 14:30. The tour starts in the chapel.
Please note that there are no guided tours on 26–27 June, 4 July, 1 August and 8 August.
During the tour, you will learn more about who we are, why Sigtunastiftelsen was built, important events that have taken place here over the years, and how we work today. It is a wonderful experience that we warmly recommend.
